Assurant Solutions Affiliate Acquires NeoSynergy’sNext-Generation Dealer Management System Design

June 29, 2006, ATLANTA and WELLINGTON, Fla. … United Service Protection Corporation (USP), an affiliate of Assurant Solutions, and NeoSynergy LLC, an enterprise dealership management software development and service company, have entered into a licensing agreement to allow Assurant Solutions to offer web-based products and services using NeoSynergy’s dealership management software.  Financial terms were not disclosed.

Assurant Solutions is part of Assurant, Inc. (NYSE: AIZ), a premier provider of specialized insurance and insurance-related products and services in North America and selected other markets.

NeoSynergy is releasing to USP certain intellectual property for the parts, service, accounting, sales and finance modules of its web-based enterprise dealership management software.  USP will use this intellectual property to develop web-based application systems that deliver products and services to the U.S. and Canadian recreational vehicle markets, including RVs, marine, power sport and specialty trailers.

Assurant Solutions offers a wide range of vehicle service contracts, specialty insurance and services to help auto dealers and lenders minimize risk, build revenue streams and strengthen relationships with their customers by protecting their investment in autos, recreational vehicles and watercraft.

NeoSynergy said its relationship with Assurant Solutions would enable the company to deploy products and services into both domestic and international markets in real time with web-based applications.  The relationship also will extend the capabilities of NeoSynergy’s enterprise dealership management software and eCommerce services by enabling the Internet sale and delivery of Assurant Solutions products and services through NeoSynergy’s web-based applications.

NeoSynergy will endorse Assurant Solutions products to new franchised light automotive, medium and heavy truck dealers, both domestic and international.  Assurant Solutions will use the tagline “Designed by NeoSynergy” on the web-based systems that it develops containing NeoSynergy intellectual property.

Assurant Solutions will provide NeoSynergy its propriety web-based product distribution system on a non-exclusive basis for use in the automobile and light, medium and heavy truck markets.
